We all remember where we were when we first heard that ex reality show host guy who brags about sexual assault to Billy Bush and a dude who probably worked with a foreign government to win the election, won the election. One day we were looking forward to (or being annoyed but ultimately ready to work with) a Hillary presidency, and the next we were defeated and deflated as a white supremacist won the day. Like— let’s just say that— THIS time last year we were an Elmo happy and puppety, and today you’re an Elmo hanging out in Times Square with a face full of sorrow.
