  • For a long time it looked like justice for the multiple women who have come forward as being drugged and sexually abused by Bill Cosby was out of reach.

The comedian left behind him a history of drugging women’s drinks and raping them. The case in question was brought up by Andrea Constand, a Temple University employee who accused Bill Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2008. The Jury found Bill Cosby guilty on all three counts, and his past victims were brought to showcase a pattern of behavior which has made itself obvious to the public throughout the last five years.

Bill Cosby faces up to thirty years in prison, and this is considered the first court victory of the #MeToo movement. This sentencing will put an end on a famous man’s abuse of women, and will hopefully stand as a symbol of where our culture is moving towards in regards to sexual assault and rape and the legal system regarding this.
