‘The Hobbit’ Trailer Continues To Heat Up The Interwebs

Movie geeks across the web are tweeting with glee! The official trailer for the Peter Jackson’s highly anticipated “The Lord of the Rings” prequel, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” began trending Tuesday night and is still heating up Google hot searches this morning. The film chronicles the story of Bilbo Baggins and his voyage to take back the Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the dragon Smaug. Sounds every bit as fantastical as the flick’s predecessors, right?

The movie’s ensemble cast stars Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins), Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield), Sir Ian McKellan (Gandalf the Grey), Andy Serkis (Gollum), Evangeline Lilly (Taurel) and Luke Evans (Bard). Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, and Cate Blanchett return briefly to reprise their roles as Legolas, Frodo and Galadriel.
