Ben Affleck marked his 52nd birthday on August 15 with visits from both his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and his current wife, Jennifer Lopez.
Early in the day, Garner, who is also 52, was photographed arriving at Affleck’s rental home in Brentwood, California. The two, who divorced in 2018, share three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. In May, Affleck and Garner attended their daughter Violet’s high school graduation together.
Just hours after Garner’s visit, Lopez was seen leaving Affleck’s rental home. Her appearance at the property comes amid ongoing speculation about their relationship. The couple, who wed in 2022, had spent much of the summer apart. Lopez had celebrated her birthday in the Hamptons without Affleck and was later spotted at his rental home on August 11. According to a source, Lopez also spent time with Affleck’s son Samuel earlier in the day.
Despite recent separations, Lopez, who has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, remains committed to building a relationship with Affleck’s children. “Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about his kids,” the source said. “She’s always cared about them. She spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year.” The source added that Lopez aims to spend quality time with the children before the new school year starts and Violet heads off to college.
Sources revealed in May that Affleck and Lopez had been living separately despite their joint purchase of a Beverly Hills mansion in May 2023. A recent source update from August 9 indicated that Affleck has been busy with work this summer, which has helped him stay positive. “Ben’s doing well.
