  • Season 2 spans 16 episodes but there’s no confirmation of a Part 3 yet.

Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black returned to Netflix on March 19 with the second part of its second season, dropping all eight new episodes at once.

The installment picks up the escalating rivalry between Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) and Mallory (Crystle Stewart). Now heading her husband Horace’s beauty empire, Kimmie confronts her former pimp Jules (Charles Malik Whitfield) from a position of power for the first time. Stewart previously teased that fans can expect a “wild ride,” with more direct head-to-head moments between the two leads.

Season 2 spans 16 total episodes split across two parts, a release strategy rather than an indicator of further installments within the same season. There is currently no sign of a Part 3. Netflix has not made any official announcements, and any continuation of the series would likely come as a third season.

Beauty in Black follows two women from opposite worlds, one navigating life under the control of an abusive pimp and the other running a successful hair care business while trapped in a difficult marriage. The series also stars Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Ts Madison, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, George Middlebrook, Terrell Carter, Shannon Wallace, Debbi Morgan, and more.

Both parts of Season 2 are available to stream now on Netflix.
