Their history includes public beef in 2013, but now they come together for a remix, dropping tonight.
In what might be 2026’s most unexpected collab, Katy Perry has confirmed a remix of her 2013 Prism deep cut “Legendary Lovers” featuring Chief Keef, dropping tonight at 9 p.m. PT.
The link-up has been building for days. Over the weekend, Perry was publicly trying to “summon Mr. Keef” on social media. It worked. Footage then emerged of the two hanging outside together with their teams before heading into the studio. Perry posted a TikTok of the meetup captioned “Legendary link up,” soundtracked by “Legendary Lovers” — with new Chief Keef vocals audible in the mix. She announced the official drop with a studio photo and a very on-brand “YABADABADOOOO.”
According to TMZ, it was reportedly Keef who initiated — reaching out to Perry’s team about getting approval for a remix.
The collab carries extra weight given their history. Back in 2013, Perry publicly criticized Keef on Twitter over his single “Hate Bein’ Sober.” Keef fired back hard. Perry later apologized, writing “Mr. Keef! I’m sorry if I offended you… I’m a lover not a hater x.” The beef died fast but lived forever in internet lore.
Now, 13 years later, it’s a song.
