We all played Street Fighter once or twice, but did any of us really understand what the characters were saying? In his new sketch, Pete Holmes looks at what would happen if characters had to get their “fighting words” pre-approved for television audiences. As a bonus to the already hilarious concept, Ryu is played by none other than Zack Morris, Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
When Holmes, as the Standards and Practices employee, starts suggesting “terrifying” pre-approved phrases such as “my spinny kick will kick you and hurt a lot,” will Ryu let the red tape get him down? Check it out below.
