Sports Illustrated went digital and empowered fans to choose the cover of their latest issue. The magazine took to their Facebook page to offer the community the ability to pick from a myriad of “best sports moments of 2011” to be featured. The return of Eric LeGrand won the #1 spot. The paralyzed Rutgers football player leading his former teammates on to the field in his wheelchair garnered the most votes followed by “Merci & Barça Reign”, “Cardinals Magic”, “Slater Soars” and “U.S. Women Stun Brazil”.
