The YouTube video, “Perhaps one of the best anti-smoking ads ever created,” has over 1 million hits since it was uploaded four days ago.
Formally entitled “Smoking Kid,” the ad shows children approaching adult smokers on the street to ask for a light. Naturally, the adults deny these requests and instead offer mini lectures on the dangers of smoking, cigarettes still burning between their fingers.
The children then hand the pedestrians brochures with a simple question, “You worry about me. But why not about yourself?”
