  • On Sunday, December 2, our own Shira Lazar and Tyler Oakley hosted the red carpet of The Trevor Project‘s “Trevor Live” gala, the annual star-studded event that raises awareness and funds for programs that help LGBT in crisis.

“Glee” star Chris Colfer stops by to chat about the importance of staying positive and his life as a role model.

“You’re not alone,” he identifies as the biggest message to take away from “Trevor Live” 2012. “When you’re stuck in environments and situations where you feel like you’re the only person going through it, look around. You’re really not. You’re not at all. We’re hear for you.”

He continues, “Even though I was bullied in high school, I’m okay now!” And how did he get through that? “Making plans for the future.”

FInally, in true Chris/Kurt fashion, he pulls out the old but good musical theater cliche, “Hitch your wagon to a star!”
