Summary:

  • FX’s American Horror Story reunites Ariana Grande with franchise legends for star-studded 13th season.

  • The cast includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, and more in a highly anticipated return.

  • Fans speculate on revisiting past storylines, particularly 2013’s Coven, as excitement builds for Season 13.

FX’s American Horror Story is pulling off a major reunion for its 13th season — and it’s headlined by none other than Ariana Grande.

The Grammy-winning artist will star alongside franchise legends Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman, marking one of the most stacked casts in the show’s history.

The news broke on Ryan Murphy Productions’ official Instagram, which posted a black screen video revealing the cast list in the show’s signature font, set to Vera Lynn’s haunting cover of “I’ll Be Seeing You.”

Grande’s casting marks a return to Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s orbit a decade after Scream Queens, the short-lived cult favorite that also featured Roberts and Lourd. Lange’s comeback is equally headline-worthy — she hasn’t appeared since 2018’s Apocalypse. Bassett, Bates, and Sidibe also return after years away, while Peters and Paulson were last seen in 2021’s Double Feature.

The all-star roster has fans speculating that AHS Season 13 could revisit past storylines — particularly 2013’s Coven, which remains one of the anthology’s most beloved seasons. The show previously crossed timelines in Apocalypse, merging characters from Coven, Murder House, and Hotel.

The most recent season, American Horror Story: Delicate, aired from September 2023 to April 2024 with a cast led by Roberts, Lourd, Kim Kardashian, and Cara Delevingne.

No premiere date has been announced for Season 13, but the teaser’s nostalgic tone — and the reunion of fan-favorite stars — has reignited excitement around the long-running FX franchise.
