Ariana Grande Spotted Filming For New Album Despite Being Locked in Contract with Scooter Braun

Ariana Grande has been teasing fans about new music sharing clips of herself in the studio and now filming for her upcoming album.

In clips, many could hear background noise in the studio when Grande, 30, stepped up to the microphone. Many of the videos were muted.

The “Positions” singer, who is still under contract with Scooter Braun, has put music on hold in the last few years to film the three Wicked movies, which were filmed back to back.

Grande has not been captioning her posts, leaving fans wondering what is coming next for the new anticipated album.

The “Bang Bang” singer hasn’t released an album of new music since 2020’s Positions. Instead she focused wholly on Wicked and her R.E.M. Beauty business.

Yet, as of late, Grande was seen filming something in New York City according to posts from Diggzy.

Many fans had suspicions that Grande filming something for the upcoming album’s lead music video.

It was reported that Grande, 30, had signed with Brandon Creed’s newly-launched Good World Management last weekend.

It has been months since she allegedly parted ways with Braun, 42, marking a decade since he helped catapult her to fame with her debut album, Yours Truly.

Sources close to DailyMail claim that despite wanting to part ways with Braun, she is very much wanting to record at least legally.

“She continues to be contractually bound to Scooter as there are several long term contracts still in place,” the source stated.

“If Ariana were to release a new album tomorrow, she would still be obligated to pay Scooter in addition to Brandon. Nothing has changed there.”

Grande is doing the best she can not to collaborate with Braun though, with a second source saying ‘She is not working with Scooter.’

The second insider said that there are currently ‘legal proceedings pending’ over the contract ending, revealing: ‘There are legal proceedings pending over what, if anything, each party is entitled to as a result of the contract ending.’
