Casey Wasserman, the influential figure in sports and talent representation, is further extending his reach into the creator economy. His Westwood-based firm, Wasserman, has announced the acquisition of Long Haul Management, a company founded by Dan Levitt in 2013. This move signals Wasserman’s continued expansion into the creator space, encompassing a diverse roster of high-profile talent.
Long Haul, known for its representation of prominent figures in basketball culture, YouTube, and gaming, will now operate under the Wasserman Creators division. As part of the acquisition, all 10 employees from Long Haul will join Wasserman, and Dan Levitt will assume the role of senior vice president at Wasserman.
Levitt’s Long Haul has represented a notable array of creators, including Matthew Robert Patrick, also known as MatPat. Patrick is renowned for his popular YouTube channels, Game Theory and Film Theory, which boast 19.4 million and 13.2 million subscribers, respectively. Long Haul’s roster also includes trickshot artist Tristan Jass, who made a splash at this year’s NBA All-Star game, as well as basketball and gaming creator Kris London, lifestyle and basketball creator Crissa Jackson, and streetball player Grayson “The Professor” Boucher.
“Dan is one of the original founding members of the creator representation business, and we are thrilled he decided to bring his knowledge, leadership, and creator advocacy to Wasserman,” said Jason Ranne, Wasserman’s president of global talent. “His experience and vision will be invaluable as we continue to grow our presence in the creator space.”
Before establishing Long Haul, Levitt gained industry experience at Big Frame and Disney, where he worked as an A&R coordinator. Reflecting on the new chapter, Levitt expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities at Wasserman. “Wasserman has a storied history in representation, and I’m excited to unlock larger opportunities for our clients—turning their next big ideas into ambitious new lines of business—while continuing my mission of helping empower creators,” he said.
The acquisition of Long Haul is a strategic move for Wasserman Creators, a division launched in October 2023 with the purchase of Michael Jones’ Dallas-based talent and media agency, J1S. This expansion reflects Wasserman’s broader strategy of acquiring marketing, creative, and boutique talent agencies to enhance its portfolio. In 2024 alone, Wasserman has significantly grown its global presence by acquiring U.K. soccer agency Volante and Ireland-based representation and marketing firm Line Up Sports.
Wasserman’s recent acquisitions also include the production-management firm Brillstein Entertainment Partners, which was secured last year, and Paradigm’s music division, along with its roster of top clients, in 2021. Notably, one of Paradigm’s former clients, Billie Eilish, recently departed Wasserman following allegations of sexual misconduct involving multiple women that were reported by the Daily Mail on August 1. Eilish has since signed with WME.

With a global workforce now totaling 3,200 employees, Wasserman’s strategic acquisitions and growth initiatives underscore its commitment to broadening its reach and impact in the ever-evolving landscape of talent representation.
