TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas have won season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars”.

The duo beat out other contestants like Shangela, Wayne Brady and Gabby Windey.

The two sat down with “Good Morning America” on Tuesday to discuss their win.

D’Amelio stated, “I think for me, I really just gave everything I had to this journey and I got so much out of it, whether it’s confidence in my dancing, new friends, you know, memories that I’ll remember forever.”

Ballas added “I had a really lovely time, made a great friend and had a great time creating and dancing with Charli. And also to be on the floor with all my comrades, I’ve grown up with all of them. I loved it. I had a really beautiful time.”

The series finale, which debuted on Disney+, had four couples in the top with many pegging fan favorite Shangela to win.

Shangela brought the audience to their feet performing a freestyle number to “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child and “Call Me Mother” by RuPaul which featured Shangela’s partner Savchenko in full drag as well.

“I forgot to vote because I was absolutely mesmerized by the whole thing,” Len Goodman said at the end of Shangela’s performance.

After all of this, many thought that Shangela would take the crown but that of course did not happen.

Fans on social media were outraged at the win from the TikToker.
