Charli XCX delivered her promise to team up with Addison Rae once again on her upcoming album ‘Brat.’
The singer collaborated with her frequent producing partner A.G. Cook to deliver the new sweat-inducing remix to the conversation. The latest, titled “The von dutch remix with addison rae and a.g. cook” has a frenzy of electronic pop beats with nostalgic references.
The duo valley subtle jabs at their hates on the track’s opening verse. “I’m just living that life / Von Dutch, cult classic, but I still pop / Every time my track drops, you’re jealous / I’m just living that life,” sings Charli as Addison layers on, “While you’re sittin’ in your dad’s basement / Bet you’re disappointed that I’m shinin’ / I’m just living that life.”
As previously reported by What’s Trending, fans speculated that Addison Rae was on the original track in the past.
While promoting the lead single ‘Von Dutch,’ the “Baby” singer took to Instagram to share a wide variety of clips from promo shoots to even driving while blasting a snippet of the track.
Yet, fans took particular note of a TikTok that had the two in what appeared to be in a bathroom jamming out to the hyperpop single. Charli tagged Addison Rae in the short social clip that fans into theories.

Charli were well aware of the history the two share together. Back in 2023, Rae dropped her highly-anticipated single ‘2 Die 4’ which featured Charli XCX.
The two became fast friends apparently. Charli told Vogue last year that she indeed admires Addison for her as an artist and a person.
“She was like no one I’d ever met really. Not jaded. Not faking. Not uncomfortable. Not trying to be anything than herself,” Charli said at the time.
The ‘Crash’ singer added, “If I ever get married, I would definitely ask Addison Rae to be my wedding DJ.”
As of late, Charli got officially engaged to George Daniel of the 1975.

Fans have been buzzing at the idea of a DJ collab, while others are focused on the new tracks.
