The collaboration follows her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 1, where she revealed her in-game alter ego, The Mother of Thorns — described as a “trickster, enchantress, and sorceress” — after a segment where she guessed whether various Fortnite skins were real or fake.
The segment ended with Doja Cat seated on a replica of her throne from the game, confirming her role as a new boss character for Fortnitemares 2025.
Fortnitemares 2025 launches Oct. 9 and will feature a Halloween-themed island packed with over 25 collaborations. Alongside Doja Cat’s debut, the event will reportedly include appearances and skins inspired by horror icons like Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th), Ghostface (Scream), and even the Scooby-Doo crew.
Leaks shared by Fortnite insider @NotPaloleaks on X indicate that Doja Cat’s in-game cosmetics will include two skins and two emotes, matching the visual tone of her Scarlet era — thorny motifs, dark glamour, and fantasy-inspired textures. Fans on X have been quick to share screenshots and predictions, with some calling the set “the most detailed Icon Series drop yet.”
