A clip from a recent episode of Hulu’s show The Kardashians is going viral after people are calling out the strange way Kendall Jenner cuts a cucumber. In the episode, her mother Kris Jenner asks her if she would like their chef to make her a snack. She says no and decided to cut a cucumber instead, but it is obvious this is not something she does often as she struggled to cut it, although calling it “pretty easy.” But, after struggling to cut the cucumber, and Kris chiming in for her to be careful, it was evident that Kendall lived a life much different from many of the viewers at home.

Although it is obvious that someone growing up in a mansion and participating in a reality television series would set them up for A life very different than the average person, Kendall’s cutting of a cucumber seemed to prove to people just how different her life was. Many placed the blame on her mother, Kris, for not teaching her life skills such as this one. “What is sad is the mother is just sitting there & has to call the chef to make a snack! SAD,” one person commented. “About an hour ago, I witnessed Kendall Jenner attempt to cut a cucumber on my tv screen. It made me feel a little superior but mostly poor,” another person added.

Although Kendall made fun of herself, calling it “tragic,” many people found it a little sad, as it showed the difference in the lives of those who are wealthy. “The way Kendall Jenner cuts a cucumber is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen and is such a definitive comment on celebrity and wealth and different realities,” another person noted.

Overall, although the clip was humorous and did get a lot of laughs from viewers, it seemed to be a simpler way of seeing the gap in realities between those who are wealthy and those who are not.
