The song, accompanied by a visually striking countryside music video directed by Wyatt Spain Winfrey, was released on Wednesday following weeks of teasing and a live performance at Boston’s Fenway Park. Set against serene rural landscapes, the video portrays Del Rey and Quavo, as a guitar-playing, shotgun-wielding couple, sharing intimate moments and exuding a palpable chemistry.
In “Tough,” Del Rey’s ethereal vocals harmonize with Quavo’s signature rap verses over a country-infused beat produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut.
