Former One Direction star Liam Payne is currently facing some heat online after discussing behind-the-scenes facts between the band members. After appearing on Logan Paul’s podcast, “Impaulsive,” he has been accused of airing some dirty laundry to fans.  One comment that is getting attention is the fact that Liam Payne says that “There are many reasons why I dislike Zayn, and there are many reasons why I’ll always, always be on his side.” This conversation was in reference to Malik being charged with verbally harassing his ex’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. But, many fans found this incredibly inappropriate, especially since rumors came out just last week that Payne cheated on his fiance at the time, who recently broke up.

In another clip, he says that although he was the last band member to debut a solo, he claims to have outsold everyone in the band. But, fans were quick to show that this is untrue with screenshots to prove otherwise. “Harry is literally one of the biggest selling artists in the world right now. Niall has a No. 1 US album and No. 1 UK album and a world tour done. Zayn has a No. 1 album and multiple hit songs. Louis is on a world tour now. Liam is, factually speaking, the least successful,” one fan wrote.

Not only did Payne bring up former bandmate Zayn Malik, but he also discussed Louis Tomlinson as well. He notes that he was not used to “rowdy guys” and that “Louis was wild. He wanted to be wild. He’s got this spirit.” But, he didn’t stop there either, adding that “in the band, we hated each other. Like, to come to blows hate each other, it was close.” The host of the podcast, Logan Paul, faces the controversy right along with Payne. On Twitter, #LoganPaulisOverParty trends with over 21 thousand tweets and growing. But, this hashtag is not as dedicated to roasting Payne, but more so to Paul who fans claim ruined his reputation with this podcast. Fans are also calling out Payne’s manager, Steve Finan, for allowing him to participate in the podcast, believing he was forced to by management.

Still, the majority of fans still seem pretty upset with Payne and the way he brought up people with ease, although other members have avoided discussing Payne. Although One Direction claimed they were going on a hiatus in 2015, fans are pretty sure that this means the chances for a One Direction reunion tour are slim to none.
