Lizzo was feeling good as hell on Saturday evening shooting her shot with Chris Evans after sliding into his DMs. Her drunken, flirty, emoji-filled message was shared on TikTok amongst her 14.5 million followers with the Grammy-winning singer captioning the post as, “Don’t drink and DM, kids…. for legal porpoises this is a joke.”

In the video, Lizzo lip-synched to a TikTok audio by Tatayanna Mitchell showing on screen her one-sided conversation with Evans.

The Conversation

“The reason I’m upset about this one is because I know I’m not going to be able to marry him, and honestly it hurts me to the core – because damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing,” the “Juice” singer stated in the video as she displayed her selection of emojis which consisted of a puff of wind, a sports player and a basketball.

Evans later responded to her DM writing back, “No shame in a drunk DM,” followed by a kiss emoji.

“God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol,” Evans added in the new TikTok video that Lizzo shared the next day.

Evans was a trending topic worldwide once the incident occurred and many of his costars intervened to support him.

Mark Ruffalo, his Avengers costar tweeted, “@ChrisEvans Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See… silver lining.”

Evans himself took to Twitter following the leak, saying jokingly, “Now that I have your attention…. VOTE Nov 3rd!!!”, following a facepalm emoji.

During an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show in September 2020, “Look, it was an interesting weekend full of lessons learned, a lot of teachable moments. Things happen. It’s embarrassing, but you’ve gotta roll with the punches. I will say, I have fantastic fans who came to my support. That was really nice.”
