Megan Thee Stallion and Reneé Rapp wear pink and let audiences know when their new single drops.
The duo shared the details of the upcoming track for the Mean Girls movie in a December 13 announcement with the single’s cover art and release date. The new track, titled “Not my Fault” is expected to arrive Friday, December, 15th.

On the cover, fans see the two standing in a room full of mannequins each embodying a blonde wig. The “Cobra” rapper is also seen with a fluffy pink headpiece with Rapp holding a baseball bat.
The two first announced the collaboration with a Sunday (Dec. 10) Instagram video shared to Rapp’s official updates account starring the “Plan B” artist. “It’s Megan Thee Stallion, aka the Black Regina George, and I’m excited to introduce my girl to the stage,” she said in the clip, aptly dressed in all-pink. “We have a new song coming out for Mean Girls. That’s right, give it up for the new fantastic plastic, Renee Rapp.”
Rapp stars as the iconic character Regina George in the upcoming film, which is a live action adaptation of the Broadway musical version of Tina Fey’s 2004 movie with the same name.

Fey will also be making an appearance to reprise her role as Ms. Norbury and Bebe Wood, Avantika, Chris Briney, Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho and Jaquel Spivey are also set to star in the main cast.
Reneé Rapp comes off the heels of acting in multiple series like HBO Max’s hit from Mindy Kaling The Sex Lives of College Girls. Fans also saw the actress and singer perform at TikTok in the Mix from in Arizona. Users online have been eagerly awaiting for new music from the star as well as this upcoming movie role.
Mean Girls hits theaters Jan. 12.
