Normani Drops New Trailer For ‘Dopamine’ Debut Album Complete with Release Date

Normani has officially let fans know when they can expect her debut album.

On Wednesday, the singer announced her forthcoming studio album, which fans have been anxiously waiting for years.

Many saw the releases like “Motivation,” “Wild Side” feat. Cardi B and “Waves.” To build up momentum for the project, Normani has dropped a new teaser.

“Hello, hotline 1:59. Yes, here to satisfy your deepest, wildest desires. No rules. No restrictions. Straight dopamine.”

The new seductive teaser opens with Normani acting as a woman on a hotline service before transitioning into dancing on a love interest.

In the montage of clips, Normani is seen showing off her dancing skills alongside her beauty and leaning into her sexuality. The background music takes from Normani’s new single “1:59” featuring Gunna, which also appears on the album before previewing another track entitled “Candy Paint.”

Normani ended the teaser nude while painted silver from the neck down, which mirrors the album cover.

Rumors have been circulating as of late that girl group Fifth Harmony would be reuniting to create new music. Yet, despite the reports, many have come out shutting down the idea.

Six years after the group announced their indefinite hiatus, Page Six reported that Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane were potentially getting back together. The group were also rumored to have Camila coming back into the picture,  who also left the group in 2016.

Yet, those rumors were shut down.

Rolling Stone later confirmed that the girls do not have any set plans to reunite at the moment. That’s a bummer. But this news ins’t stopping fans from enjoying the ongoing Fifth Harmony renaissance that’s been circulating through social media.

Since Feb. 15, interest in Fifth Harmony skyrocketed when TikToker Noah Miller discussed the impact of the group’s 2017 hit “All In My Head (Flex).”

As the song resurfaced, many more Harmonizers began to reveal themselves. Users have even sparked conversations on the band’s most underrated moments and their favorite unreleased songs.

Former members Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui have thanked both longtime and newer fans for the Fifth Harmony Renaissance. In a comment on one TikTok TikTok, Cabello agreed that “All In My Head (Flex)” is a “forever banger.” So far, it’s been silent from Normani.

Normani’s debut studio album Dopamine, is set to be released on Friday, June 14.
