OnlyFans Has Paid Creators $30 Billion, Meet the Top Earners

OnlyFans has paid out $30 billion to creators since 2016, the Financial Times reported in August. About $6.2 billion of that came in the company’s last fiscal year alone, which ended in November 2025 with $1.6 billion in revenue and $715 million in pre-tax profit.

The money comes almost entirely from fans paying creators directly through subscriptions, tips and paid messages. Creators keep 80% of what they earn, compared with the 55% share of ad revenue YouTube pays creators in its Partner Program. By 2024 the platform had 4.6 million creator accounts and 377 million fan accounts, according to Forbes.

Fan-funded creator income is now everywhere. YouTube has channel memberships, Instagram sells subscriptions and Patreon built a business on it. OnlyFans runs the same model at a scale few platforms have matched. In May, investment firm Architect Capital bought a 16% stake for $535 million, valuing the company at $3.15 billion.

Sophie Rain sits at the top of the self-reported leaderboard. In January, she posted a video on X captioned “Finally made it to $100m,” scrolling through what appeared to be her all-time earnings page less than three years after joining in May 2023. She didn’t say whether the figure was before or after the platform’s cut.

Bhad Bhabie, who went viral as a teenager with “cash me outside,” joined in April 2021 and said she made $1 million in her first six hours. She shared a screenshot showing $57 million in net earnings in July 2024, then said on DDG’s Twitch stream last year that the total was “like $75 million.”

Bella Thorne helped turn OnlyFans into a mainstream headline when she reportedly made $1 million in her first 24 hours in August 2020.

A wave of celebrities followed her onto the platform.
