On Valentine’s Day the pet company, Chewy hosted a TikTok Live event called ‘Some Buddy to Love’ where they teamed up with a rescue to spread love to anyone who was looking for an extra dose of cuteness or to adopt a fur-ever friend.

In addition to that, for every view the TikTok Live received Chewy also donated a pound of pet food and supplies to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in South Florida up to 10 thousand pounds.
To no surprise the TikTok live event was a smashing success and received over 28 thousand likes. Regarding the event, Mita Malhotra the VP of Chewy Health and Shelters, said quote “At Chewy, we’re passionate about pets and the communities that serve them.”
The statement went on to say that Chewy is always looking for innovative ways to support their rescue partners and spotlight loveable animals. It’s clear this ‘Some Buddy to Love’ event did just that.
