Quavo Wants Migos to Play the Hyenas in ‘The Lion King’ Remake
We knew the hyenas were bad, but — bad and boujee?!
The star-studded cast of The Lion King (2019) was announced on November 1, and rap-group Migos wants in. Donald Glover (Simba) and Seth Rogen (Pumbaa) are set to appear in the live-action film, with Beyoncé on board to play Nala.
After the cast was announced, fans of the Atlanta trio had one improvement in mind — Migos to voice the three hyenas (Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed). Quavo even reached out to Disney letting them know the trio was available.
Unfortunately, the chances of Migos being cast are slim with Eric Andre, Keegan Michael-Key, and Florence Kasumba already set to voice the hyenas (according to the Hollywood Reporter). Still, fans are having fun with the idea.
