Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are divorcing after just short of 14 years of marriage, the two announced.
On Friday, both Baron Cohen and Fisher both posted statements to their Instagram stories.
One source told Page Six as of late that Baron Cohen had even been to meet Hollywood lawyers late last year but that the divorce filing is in London where they both now live.
In the joint statement both Baron Cohen and Fisher said: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down.
“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
The “Borat” comic and the “Wedding Crashers” star had previously kept their relationship — and their three children — largely out of the spotlight.

Rumors starting circulating online about Baron Cohen and Fisher right before the holidays, where the now estranged wife was hiding her left hand in photos she posted online from an event for fashion designer Monique Lhullier.
The couple, who first met back in 2001, had attended Oscars parties on their own last month.
Cohen, 52, was spotted solo with the A-list at CAA’s Oscar party at the Sunset Tower hotel in March, where guests included Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Steven Spielberg and Chris Rock.
He was also seen hanging out with Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich at the Time Women of the Year 2024 event in Hollywood the week of the awards.
Fisher, 48, has friends who say that she has been devastated by the death of her father Brian in January 2021. The star went to the Vanity Fair party on her own and posed for photos with the likes of friends including Sofia Vergara.
At the event, the star was not wearing a wedding ring, but she had a large cocktail ring on her wedding finger.

The couple first met at a party in Sydney in 2001. Speaking about their meeting, Baron Cohen told the New York Times: “She was hilarious. We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.”
They have two daughters, Olive, 15, and Elula, 13, alongside their 8-year-old son, Montgomery, and have brought up their family between Sydney, London and LA.
Last year, Fisher revealed why they have kept their kids under wraps.
“It’s unfair on them,” she told UK’s “Lorraine” show, “Kids deserve a normal childhood. I want them to be outdoors and play and run around [and] not feel self-conscious.”
