The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards were held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The ceremony was hosted by fan favorite rapper Nicki Minaj. Taylor Swift led the pack with eight nominations, among them for the music video for her hit song “Anti-Hero.” SZA followed closely behind with six nominations.

Household names old and new were up for awards this year. Swift, SZA, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Shakira, Ice Spice, and more were up for the coveted VMA awards across a number of categories. The complete winners list is as follows.
