TikTok has introduced a set of cards for creatives and business owners who want to capture viewers during the holiday season.

TikTok is advertising its Creative Cards as “365 examples, tips, and tricks” — a year’s worth of ideas.

Yet, although it may seem like it could last an entire year, the deck only includes “more than 100 digital cards” spread across five different categories. In regards to the categories, each are color-coded and related to specific communities, creator tools, trends, and even storytelling opportunities.

The cards allow users to pick randomly from the deck.

TikTok is positioning the deck to be a holiday gift for its community of business minded and entrepreneurs creators on the platform.

A blog post from the video app notes that 50% of its users employ the For You Page as a shopping aid during the holiday season.

The cards join a list of growing business-oriented products on the platform as well. The app has been busy in 2023 launching many business focused opportunities including in-person retail, networking, and product discovery.

Catering to its community, the e-commerce side of the platform has been growing rapidly.

Other applications have been trying to cater to this audience including YouTube with their AI developed suggested video topics for creators.

EyeTell, a startup led by YouTube Co-Founder Chad Hurley, is based around a similar topic: AI-generated video scripts.
