People in Japan Are Mashing Up Pokémon Go With Pets & It’s Super Cute

Can pets see the Pokémon in the frustratingly addicting Pokémon Go? Obviously not. But suspend your disbelief a minute and look at all these cute pictures of people’s pets interacting with invisible creatures that are almost as adorable as they are.

The latest trend out of Japan, home of weird trends like harmonica-playing vacuum cleaners and baby arms that look like bread, is all about taking pictures of your pets appearing to interact with the Pokémon in Pokémon Go. It’s always good to see Japan be strange in a cute way, instead of strange in a “DEAR LORD WHAT?!” way.
