Selena Gomez Takes Carpool Karaoke to a Roller Coaster

You could even say she takes it to new heights.

  • Selena Gomez is the latest to join James Corden on his Carpool Karaoke segment, and as far as those go, you can definitely add this one to the “watch” list.

The carpool karaoke format, as many have pointed out, is getting a little repetitive. This time, Corden and Selena shake things up by transferring a portion of the sing-along to the top of a freaking rollercoaster. Which proves significantly easier for Selena than for our host. But he recovers, and after doing some more singing in the car, they make a detour through the McDonald’s drive-thru (greeted by screams of delight from the person working the window) so Corden can berate one of the workers for not giving them cups with Selena’s song lyrics on them. They follow it up with a discussion on Taylor Swift’s girl squad, and Selena drops a little knowledge on Corden as to why there are no men in the squad, and may never be. Overall, it’s nothing that deviates too much from what we’ve come to expect from Carpool Karaoke, but it’s certainly enjoyable and worth your twelve minutes.
