Home is where the heart is and besides for college students moving away for college you rarely hear about young adults straying far from home. For 19 year old Madison Kahouts it was no pressure at all in fact, she hadn’t had a chance to visit the place just yet. Kahouts was browsing the web for an affordable place to move in Arkansas and came across an apartment to her liking. Once she secured the place she packed up her belongings and headed out to Arkansas.
Kahout’s was featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show saying, It took me a week to realize I was moved into senior housing. So, whenever I got here it was super dark, when I got here it was the evening time and a week later I decided to venture out a little bit to get to know the town. Then I drove passed the sign down the road connected to another apartment saying “Senior Housing.” And then it all finally clicked that I was the only teenager on site. She said originally moved out to Arkansas to be closer to her new family that adopted her through TikTok but she has grown closer to her senior neighbors and is settling right into her new home and new family.
