Lizzo has another woman coming forward suing the singer for her time on tour.
Lizzo’s spokesman, Stefan Friedman told TMZ “As Lizzo receives a Humanitarian Award tonight from the Black Music Action Coalition for the incredible charitable work she has done to lift up all people, an ambulance-chasing lawyer tries to sully this honor by recruiting someone to file a bogus, absurd publicity-stunt lawsuit who, wait for it, never actually met or even spoke with Lizzo.”
He continues, “We will pay this as much attention as it deserves. None.”
Lizzo has been under fire for allegations tied to inappropriate working conditions – from incidents ranging abroad in Amsterdam to even in the United states with her former backup dancers.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Asha Daniels claimed she was hired by Amanda Nomura to join Lizzo’s tour in 2023 to work in wardrobe. Daniels claims her shifts would at times range from 6 AM – 2 AM and getting refused the ability to take any breaks.
Daniels claims that Nomura, the member of Lizzo’s team, was brutally making racist and fatphobic comments. The wardrobe staff member says that Nomura called black women on the tour “dumb,” “useless,” and even “fat.”
Daniels claims in her lawsuit that Nomura claimed she was not allowed to dress ‘sexy’ around Lizzo as the star would apparently get jealous when her boyfriend was around ‘other beautiful women.’

In one incident, Daniels claims she injured her ankle on the job when Nomura rolled a clothing rack over it. She said from there, her ankle became swollen to the point she wore a pair of Crocs to the job.
Daniels claims that she was reprimanded and told she needed to put on a pair of tennis shoes instead.
In the documents, the former staff member also says she alerted about the behavior from Namora, and Lizzo’s tour manager, Carlina Gugliotta, allegedly advised her to film any incidents as they arise.
However, Daniels felt the actions would be unethical.
Later down the road, Daniels allegedly brought all of her claims to Gugliotta and believes that the statements were relayed back to Lizzo. She was eventually fired before her contract was set to end.
Daniels claims the experience has left her with anxiety and even PTSD. The former employee also claims that she now suffers migraines, ocular distortions, brain fog, and fatigue.

Daniels is currently being represented by Neama Rahmani, the lawyer who is also representing the initial lawsuit claims filed on behalf of Lizzo’s backup dancers.
Lizzo has denied those claims, saying in part, “My character has been criticized. Usually, I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.”
Daniels is suing for sexual harassment, racial harassment, disability discrimination and more. She’s asking for damages including unpaid wages, loss of earnings and others.
