Sean “Diddy” Combs took a moment to celebrate his youngest daughter’s second birthday despite facing significant legal troubles. On Tuesday, October 15, the 54-year-old rapper shared heartfelt birthday wishes for Love Sean Combs on Instagram, where he posted a carousel of images featuring the toddler and their father-daughter moments.

“Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you 🎂🎉🎈,” Combs wrote in the caption, expressing his affection even from behind bars.

Currently, Combs is incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after two judges denied his request for bail. Despite his circumstances, he made sure to honor his daughter on her special day.

Love’s Instagram account, which is managed by her mother Dana Tran, also shared the same pictures alongside a touching message. “2 Years of Life and Love 🎂🤍,” Tran captioned the post, detailing Love’s achievements over the past year.

In the message, Tran highlighted Love’s milestones, noting, “I can sing my ABC’s & count to 50. I ask ‘what chu doing’ to everyone I know. I like to dance, cook, and sing. I look for bugs and animals when I play outside. I get happy when I eat yummy food. I LOVE my family! I am kind, I am brave, I am smart, I AM LOVE.” The heartfelt tribute encapsulated the joy and love surrounding Love’s life, even amid her father’s legal woes.

Diddy’s twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, 17, also chimed in on the birthday tribute, praising their little sister with a comment that read, “BEST LIL SISSTAAAA EVAAAA❤️❤️❤️.”

As Combs marked this personal milestone, he continues to face serious legal issues. In September, he was indicted on multiple charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The indictment claims that Combs organized elaborate sexual performances, referred to as “freak offs,” where women were allegedly coerced into participating with male sex workers.

Following his indictment, Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His attorneys have filed an appeal to secure his release on bail ahead of his trial, which is set for May 2025.

Family support has been crucial during this challenging time. On October 10, Combs’ family visited him in New York City for a hearing in federal court. His mother, Janice Combs, who traveled from Florida, and his children were present at the federal courthouse in Manhattan.

“The kids were very happy to support their father,” a source close to the family told PEOPLE. “The whole family was united in their support, and he was happy to see them all there.” This solidarity reflects the family’s commitment to one another as they navigate this difficult period.

Despite the serious nature of the allegations against him, Combs’ birthday tribute to Love has garnered support from fans and followers, who appreciate his dedication to his family. Social media users have rallied around the music mogul, expressing both concern for his legal issues and admiration for his role as a father.
