Eminem, in his 12th studio album titled “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” takes aim at hip-hop mogul Diddy with a series of blistering diss tracks, marking a stark return since his 2020 release “Music to Be Murdered By.”
The 51-year-old rapper’s latest work features multiple references targeting Diddy, who has faced numerous allegations including rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and sex trafficking, all of which he has vehemently denied. The album’s track “Antichrist” directly addresses Diddy’s infamous incident involving his then-girlfriend Cassie, with provocative lyrics:
“Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did / But on the real, though / She prolly ran out the room with his f–kin’ dildo / He tried to field goal punt her, she said to chill / Now put it back in my ass and get the steel toe.”
Another track titled “Fuel,” featuring rapper JID, continues the assault, hinting at Diddy’s legal troubles:
“I’m like a R-A-P-E-R / Got so many S-As, S-As / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?”
The album cover for “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)” visually emphasizes Eminem’s return with a thematic focus on his controversial alter ego.
In “Bad One,” Eminem delves further into accusations against Diddy, referencing allegations that he orchestrated an explosive incident involving Kid Cudi’s car during his relationship with Cassie:

“The f–king bomb with the Puffy on / I’m blowing up for Kid Cudi’s car / In front of his house where all his buddies are.”
These tracks reflect ongoing legal battles involving Diddy, including a lawsuit by Cassie alleging threats related to the incident with Kid Cudi’s car exploding in 2012. Court documents obtained by The Post detailed Cassie’s account, corroborated by Kid Cudi himself through a spokeswoman to the New York Times.
Despite the confrontational tone of “The Death of Slim Shady,” speculated to be Eminem’s final album, it’s notable that Eminem and Diddy previously collaborated on a remix of “Hello Good Morning” from Diddy — Dirty Money’s 2010 album “Last Train to Paris.”
Beyond targeting Diddy, Eminem’s album spans broader criticisms aimed at various figures in the music industry, including Kanye West, Ja Rule, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, and Caitlyn Jenner. The release underscores Eminem’s enduring influence and willingness to tackle controversial themes in his music.
