The fight reached a peak of 65 million concurrent streams, including 38 million in the United States, according to streaming analytics from TVision. The mega-event topped Netflix charts in 78 countries, including the U.S., Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, South Africa, and the UK. It also ranked in the Top 10 in 91 countries during the week of November 11-17.

The event was broadcast globally, with live viewership peaking across Netflix’s streaming platforms and generating over 1.4 billion impressions across the service’s social media channels. On X (formerly Twitter), the hashtag #PaulTyson trended worldwide on the night of the fight, with #Serrano also trending in the U.S., Brazil, Spain, and Canada. Social media conversation around the fight was unprecedented, accounting for 11 of the Top 11 trending topics in the U.S. alone.

Joe Hand Promotions, a leader in live sports entertainment for out-of-home markets, reported that over 1 million viewers tuned in from more than 6,000 bars and restaurants across the U.S., setting a new record for the commercial distribution of a combat sports event in the company’s 50+ year history.
