The event, themed “New Era, New Icons,” will feature live performances, a red carpet, and hundreds of creators in attendance. Voting opens November 18 through a new in-app portal where users can vote for nominees in categories including Creator of the Year, Video of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and Storyteller of the Year.
Nominees for Creator of the Year are Adam W (@adamw), Alix Earle (@alixearle), Brooke Monk (@brookemonk_), Keith Lee (@keith_lee125), and Kristy Sarah (@kristy.sarah). For Breakthrough Artist of the Year, the nominees include Alex Warren (@alexwarren), Katseye (@katseyeworld), Laufey (@laufey), Ravyn Lenae (@ravynlenae), and Sombr (@sombr).
Additional categories highlight TikTok’s range of creators, from Education Creator of the Year to Okay Slay (Fashion/Beauty) and TikTok for Good. The show aims to recognize users whose content drives trends in entertainment, sports, and activism.
“The trophies presented on stage will beam a colorful glow upon the creators defining this new era of culture encompassing many areas, including fashion, beauty, sports, TV and film, and new forms of entertainment,” TikTok said in its announcement.

The company has hosted similar events in more than 20 countries, including Germany, Mexico, and Australia. The U.S. debut follows the success of last year’s Sydney awards, attended by JoJo Siwa and other major influencers.
TikTok’s announcement comes shortly after Instagram revealed its own creator recognition program, Rings, which honors 25 top users chosen by judges including Spike Lee and Marc Jacobs.
Unlike Instagram’s private initiative, TikTok’s show will be open to public voting and streamed live, reflecting its push to blend social media with traditional entertainment.
