Saturday Night Live has its ups and downs, but I never fail to enjoy it when the comedians manage to crack each other up on live television. You wouldn’t want actors to break character all the time, of course, but those rare moments of helpless giggling between fellow comedians are great when you can get them.
The creator of the KateMcKinnonTV YouTube channel has helpfully put together a compilation of some of the best crackups in recent SNL history — many of them from Ms. McKinnon, of course, including that brilliant “First Encounter” sketch that had Ryan Gosling weeping with laughter.
It also features moments of hilarity from Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Rachel Dratch and of course Bill Hader’s Stefon on Weekend Update.
