According to reports, Justin Timberlake is apparently ‘stressed’ following the release of the Britney Spears memoir with NSYNC standing by him.

In her new book, The Woman in Me, Britney opened up about her relationship with the singer.

Britney claims that Timberlake cheated on her multiple times, including on instance with an unnamed celebrity.

“There were a couple of times during our relationship when I knew Justin had cheated on me. Especially because I was so infatuated and so in love, I let it go, even though the tabloids seemed determined to rub my face in it,” an excerpt of the book reads.

“When NSYNC went to London in 2000, photographers caught him with one of the girls from All Saints in a car. But I never said anything. At the time we’d only been together for a year.”

The “Toxic” singer also says that Justin encouraged her to get an abortion after she fell pregnant with their child because he felt they were “too young” to have a baby.

According to Britney’s book, the star also claims the stress triggered a panic attack that affected her 2007 VMA performance.

Despite fans hoping for the *NSYNC reunion, there is not one currently in the works. Justin has also been focused on his new solo single, album, and a tour in the next year.

Timberlake has faced backlash over the years, but it has not impacted his career as drastically as this may.

In the past, Timberlake apologized for his comments made about Spears in the past after their breakup.

“I’ve seen the messages, tags, comments, and concerns and I want to respond,” Timberlake said. “I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right. I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism. I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed.”

Timberlake said he was compelled to respond to the backlash in part because “everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of and grow from.” The 39-year-old father of two young boys then wrote that the music industry is “flawed,” and that it sets men, “especially white men,” up for success.

Timberlake admitted that he has not been “perfect” in navigating the murky waters of privilege during his career, but hoped that his apology was a first step, acknowledging that it doesn’t absolve his past.

“I want to take accountability for my own missteps in all of this as well as be part of a world that uplifts and supports,” he concluded. “I care deeply about the wellbeing of the people I love and have loved. I can do better and I will do better.”
