Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter released their long-teased collaboration “Bring Your Love” on Thursday, delivering a house-and-disco-leaning dance track that doubles as the lead single from Madonna’s forthcoming album “Confessions II.”
The song, co-produced by Madonna and longtime collaborator Stuart Price, features Madonna handling the opening verse before passing the mic to Carpenter. The two trade lines through a defiant chorus: “Bring your love, ’cause you cannot shake me. Bring your love, ’cause you’ll never break me.”
The pair first previewed the track during Carpenter’s headlining set at Coachella Weekend 2, when Madonna made a surprise appearance to perform “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” alongside the Grammy winner. The duo teased the release earlier this week with a black-and-white promo image and the caption, “We’ve got something to say about it.”
“Confessions II” is the sequel to Madonna’s 2005 club staple “Confessions on a Dance Floor” and marks her return to Warner Records. The album is set for release on July 3 and follows the previously released single “I Feel So Free.”
