On-the-go texters shouldn’t have to stop using their phones just because they’re walking. That’s precious time wasted! But it’s also super dangerous to be glaring down at a screen instead of straight ahead at the people and cars that could hit you.
To propose a solution to the texting and walking epidemic, Improv Everywhere and BuzzFeed teamed up to start the “Seeing Eye People” project, providing text-walkers with a leash and trusty stranger to lead them on a safe path through the city.
